Building Fund

Our current major project is to complete the handicapped access plan begun a decade ago.

During that time, a wheelchair ramp was installed which provides access to our sanctuary. Engineering plans have been drawn up to both install a handicapped lift between the sanctuary and our basement hall and to build handicapped accessible washroom facilities in the hall.

The above watercolour shows the proposed addition which would replace the back entrance and add to the existing building.

We believe this significant expansion reflects the active interest and the dedication of our congregation to move beyond our own needs, expanding our ministry into and beyond our local community.

A committee is being organized to raise funding for the project. With the assistance of the many families and individuals with an attachment to "The Kirk", this should be a successful endeavour.
